Al Sadd have submitted an official offer to Lazio for centre-back Alessio Romagnoli, worth €7.5 million plus add-ons that could raise the total fee to between €9 million and €10 million.
Negotiations between the two clubs are currently ongoing.
Alessio Romagnoli, 30, is an Italian international defender who joined Lazio in 2022 after a long spell at AC Milan, where he captained the side and won the Serie A title in 2021–22.
Known for his leadership, positioning and ball-playing ability, Romagnoli has been a regular presence in Lazio’s defence in Serie A and European competitions.
